Open Meeting 22nd July 2026 - Open to all businesses

Alfie Gammer-Flitcroft—currently The Nasio Trust's Strategy and Partnerships Manager in Kenya—who will be back in the UK for a few months. Alfie’s journey with Nasio began over a decade ago when he first volunteered in Kenya at just 15 through a school trip. That experience had a lasting impact on him, opening his eyes to life in a very different community. Inspired by that early experience, he returned in 2022 to work with The Nasio Trust and has been based in Kenya ever since.

While he’s in the UK, we are delighted to welcome Alfie speaking at this month's Open Meeting. You'll find him a warm and engaging speaker, and his story often resonates deeply with audiences. Alongside sharing his personal journey, he can also talk about tangible ways in which organisations can support work alleviating poverty in Kenya.

This year marks Nasio’s 25th anniversary, it feels like a special moment to reflect on the impact we’ve built over the years and to share that with you.

About the WBC

The WBC open meetings are just that, open to all business categories. In general we have an interesting speaker from the public or private sector and on occasion from a local charity. The event offers plenty of time for networking, both before and after the event and a great breakfast. These meetings are a great place to further improve your network contacts and build on the connectivity between businesses locally.
